    Lucien Ebata denies that his group has ever engaged in any Panamanian business

    The investigation on Panama Papers conducted by the “International Consortium of Investigative Journalists”, whose results started to be released on Sunday, April 3, 2016, has revealed a world list of personalities who have used offshore companies. Neither the name of Lucien Ebata, nor that of Orion Group, appear in the referred list.

    Lucien Ebata, CEO of the Orion Group, denied on April 7, 2016 ever using any Panamanian company. The Orion Group’s holding company is registered in the Seychelles, but in “complete compliance with the law”, insisted Lucien Ebata, who threatened legal action against anyone associating his name or that of his group with “fraudulent activities”.

    Orion Group SA bought PétroCI’s stake in the MKB oil field. Orion Group SA now holds 40% of the MKB deposits, while the operator, SNPC holds 60%.
